The hope is that as many tenants as possible will come along to the conference so the council receives some representative and useful information that can help inform future service improvements.
Councillor Ben Clarke, Portfolio Holder for Housing, Homelessness and Planning, said: “This conference is a chance for all council tenants and leaseholders to help shape the future of housing services at Tamworth Borough Council.
"We want to put tenants at the heart of everything we do, in decision making, strategy and improving our housing offer to the town. The conference will assist us to work closely with our tenants to identify what really matters most to them, and where we can enhance our services to provide the best possible experience.
"Our aim is to make Tamworth a people-first council that listens to our residents and tenants, putting them at the heart of what we do.
“Tenants will also be able to ask questions, access information across housing services and listen to some great speakers. At this conference we’re hoping to welcome those we already work with and those who may not have joined anything like this before – all tenants and leaseholders are welcome.
“Anyone attending will also automatically be entered into a free prize draw to win high street shop vouchers, plus free refreshments and light snacks will be on offer.”
