At Full Council on Tuesday 30 January, the Leader of the Council, Councillor Thomas Jay, announced changes to Cabinet.
The announcement sees a number of changes made to the roles and responsibilities within portfolios.
Councillor Thomas Jay is Leader of the Council, while Councillor Samuel Smith takes the position of Deputy Leader.
Commenting on the changes, Councillor Thomas Jay, Leader of the Council said: “By reorganising the cabinet portfolios I believe this will ensure we fully utilise the skills of each member of my cabinet and will ensure we continue to deliver for Tamworth”
The Cabinet members are now as follows:

Councillor Jeremy Oates: Strategic Projects
Councillor Tina Clements: Engagement, Leisure and Events
