Tamworth Borough Council’s gender pay gap is non-existent after targeted action to see equal pay. The council has just released its ninth annual report, continuing to report a consistent decline in the pay gap since first publishing in 2018 (data from 2017).

Another town centre shop closed after illegal tobacco uncovered

Tamworth Borough Council, working in close partnership with Staffordshire County Council Trading Standards and Staffordshire Police, have taken further decisive action to protect the public by securing a closure order on The Vape Shop/Tamworth Mini Market, Victoria Road, Tamworth, making this the second action within two weeks.

Tamworth Community Gospel Choir reach crowdfunding target with over £5,000 raised.

Tamworth Borough Council is pleased to announce that Joy, hope and harmony: gospel & crafts by Tamworth Community Gospel Choir have successfully reached their crowdfunding goal through the We Are Tamworth programme, delivered in partnership with Spacehive. The project will now bring gospel music, creative arts and community celebration to residents across Tamworth.
